Coconut Beach is a small, eco-friendly family owned developement in Tangalle, on the South coast of Sri Lanka.  Situated within a stone's throw of the beach, but also only a short walk from the local town it offers an ideal spot for a perfect holiday. The 3 S's - Scuba diving, snorkelling and surfing beaches are readily available, and English speaking owners are on site at all times. 

Tangalle has been described as 'reminiscent of Cornwall. Enticing sea views with picturesque coves packed with gaily-coloured fishing boats' (Ellis 07)  However unlike the packed beaches of the south coast in the UK, in Tangalle you will find miles of empty golden beaches, fringed with swaying palm trees, and scenery to die for.

Five Cabanas, and a bar/restaurant make up Coconut Beach, and our phillosophy is to focus on being as environmentally friendly as possible, utilising as much of the Coconut palm (the tree of life) in it's design, building and production as we can.
