Coconut Beach is a small, family owned developement in Tangalle, on the South coast of Sri Lanka.  Situated within a stone's throw of the beach, but also only a short walk from the local town it offers an ideal spot for a perfect holiday. The 3 S's - Scuba diving, snorkelling and surfing beaches are readily available.

Tangalle has been described as 'reminiscent of Cornwall. Enticing sea views with picturesque coves packed with gaily-coloured fishing boats' (Ellis 07)  However unlike the packed beaches of the south coast in the UK, in Tangalle you will find miles of empty golden beaches, fringed with swaying palm trees, and scenery to die for.

 

This beach fronts one of the newest and most exciting projects to be developed in southern Sri Lanka.

Five Cabanas, and a bar/restaurant are being built in partneship by a local family, and their friends from the UK (Cornwall to be exact!) 

Coconut Beach's phillosophy is to focus on being as environmentally friendly as possible, utilising as much of the Coconut palm (the tree of life) in it's design, building and production as we can.
